Medical Waste Operator - 2nd Shift 3PM to 11:30PM

We are looking to hire a Loader/Unloader for our Daniels' medical waste treatment facility in Baltimore, MD. A Loader/Unloader has a widely varying role, from checking in containers, double checking paperwork, moving/unloading specific waste containers, and operating a forklift to load an autoclave.

Location:

1811 Portal St, Baltimore, MD 21224

• Lift 55 lb bins and push a four‑wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200 lb
• Weigh incoming sharps and medical waste containers
• Load and operate our autoclave machine (a pressure chamber to melt materials)
• Load the Washsmart system (container washing + sanitization system)
• Provide attention to detail with the paperwork required to process containers
• Stand for extended periods of time comfortably
• Work well with a team

• Must have a valid driver's license
• Previous experience in a warehouse labor‑intensive job (repetitive lifting of 50‑75 lb containers)
• Willingness to take a 5‑panel urine drug screening
• Willingness to take a 7‑year background check
• Basic math and ability to read/record weights accurately
• Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems
• Comfort with repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in PPE
• Proven longevity with employers
• Can‑do attitude
