Kinsa is recruiting for a:
Production Planner
Location: Baltimore MD or Cincinnati OH (Onsite)
For more than a century, our client has been on the forefront of flavor! They are looking to add a Production Planner to their team in Cincinnati or Baltimore, responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules across manufacturing operations. In this critical role, you will work cross-functionally to balance customer demand with production capacity, labor, material availability and inventory requirements while supporting efficient manufacturing operations and customer service.

- Develop, maintain, communicate and adjust executable production schedules across both manufacturing facilities, balancing customer demand with capacity, labor, materials, inventory and changing operational priorities.
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain and Demand Planning to align forecasts, production plans, inventory availability, manufacturing requirements and customer-service objectives.
- Identify production constraints, supply risks and potential service impacts; communicate changes, recommendations and planning priorities proactively to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate planning data in ERP/MRP or production-planning systems and use planning information to improve scheduling, sequencing, resource utilization and operational performance.
- Support planning for new products, changing customer requirements, business needs, cross-functional planning meetings, continuous-improvement initiatives and other planning/supply-chain responsibilities as required.
- Production planning, production scheduling or related supply-chain experience in a food manufacturing environment, including hands-on schedule ownership.
- Strong understanding of production capacity, inventory, material availability, manufacturing constraints, changing priorities and service requirements.
- Experience using ERP/MRP or related planning systems, with strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational and cross-functional communication skills.
