Clark Cup is looking for experienced Material Handlers to support a fast-paced paper cup manufacturing operation. This position is responsible for safely moving raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods throughout the plant while ensuring production lines remain supplied and shipments stay on schedule.
A primary responsibility of this role is operating a paper roll clamp truck to unload, transport, and stage large paper rolls used in production. Paper is delivered in bundles of three rolls
, with each bundle weighing up to 2,100 pounds
. Candidates must be comfortable handling heavy, high-value materials safely and accurately.
- Operate sit-down forklifts and paper roll clamp trucks safely and efficiently.
- Safely unload and transport paper roll bundles weighing up to 2,100 lbs
. - Supply production lines with raw materials while minimizing downtime.
- Move finished goods to staging and shipping areas.
- Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily forklift and clamp truck inspections.
- Follow all safety procedures and material handling standards.
- Accurately scan, identify, and track inventory.
- Maintain clean, organized storage areas using 5S principles.
- Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization.
- Communicate effectively with production, shipping, and receiving teams.
- Previous forklift experience required.
- Clamp truck experience strongly preferred.
- Experience handling large paper rolls, tissue rolls, paper products, or similar industrial materials is a plus.
- Ability to safely transport loads weighing up to 2,100 lbs
. - Strong attention to safety, equipment care, and product quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Basic computer or inventory scanning experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
