Responsibilities
- Responsible for account and relationship management of PR clients.
- Develop and execute high-impact media relations campaigns that generate meaningful press coverage for clients.
- Craft compelling pitches, media alerts, and press releases that align with client goals and industry trends.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with national, regional, and trade media, securing consistent, targeted media coverage.
- Monitor industry news and identify newsjacking opportunities to position clients as thought leaders.
- Own client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for PR and media relations efforts.
- Identify and pitch new business opportunities to expand Collins + Co.’s client portfolio.
- Responsible for account and relationship management of PR clients.
- Develop innovative, high-impact social media strategies tailored to each client’s brand identity and business objectives.
- Manage online communities across key platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linked In, You Tube, Tik Tok, and Pinterest.
- Oversee the creation of social media content, including copy, photography, infographics, and video assets.
- Direct and produce photo shoots and other creative initiatives to build a strong library of digital assets.
- Provide strategic direction and oversee implementation of paid social media campaigns and influencer partnerships.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance, leveraging insights to refine strategy.
- Work closely with Collins + Co.’s leadership team and clients to align PR and social media strategies with business goals.
- Oversee and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support in PR and social media best practices.
- Collaborate with the design team to develop visually compelling content that enhances brand storytelling.
- Support public relations and marketing efforts such as on-site events, media interviews, and promotional activations.
- 5+ years of experience in public relations and social media management. Please note any industry experience in hospitality, nonprofit, product launch and commercial real estate/development.
- Proven ability to create and execute successful, innovative PR and social media campaigns.
- Established relationships with national, regional, and trade media; ability to cultivate and maintain strong press contacts.
- Expertise in using social media management tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Meta Scheduling, Loomly, etc.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to craft compelling pitches, press releases, and social media copy.
- Experience managing influencer partnerships and paid social campaigns.
- Customer-focused with a client-centric mindset, excelling in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Must be based in the Baltimore or DC metro region with reliable transportation
Salary Range: $75-90K

Under the general direction of Collins + Co.’s executive leadership team, the Senior PR and Social Media Manager will lead and support strategic media relations and social media efforts for a roster of Collins + Co. clients. This role is responsible for developing and executing integrated campaigns that drive media coverage, enhance brand presence, and engage online communities in alignment with Collins + Co.’s
high standards of creativity and innovation. This position also includes the opportunity to manage Collins + Co. interns and employees.
