Junior Communications Representative

SHIK Consulting Group is looking for a Junior Communications Representative to join our growing team in the Washington, DC area.

This is a hands-on, people-focused position where you'll represent client campaigns through direct interactions with the public. You'll help communicate key campaign messages, engage with new audiences, and create positive experiences that strengthen awareness and participation.

If you're someone who enjoys meeting new people, communicates confidently, and would rather spend your day interacting with others than sitting behind a desk, this could be a strong fit.

• Representing client campaigns through face-to-face interactions
• Starting conversations and engaging with members of the public
• Communicating campaign information clearly and confidently
• Answering questions and helping people understand the campaigns we represent
• Supporting outreach and customer acquisition goals
• Working alongside the wider team to deliver strong campaign results
• Learning how different campaigns are planned, delivered, and developed
• Building practical experience in communication, customer engagement, and campaign operations

You don't need to arrive knowing everything about the industry. What matters to us is how you communicate, how you approach people, and how willing you are to learn.

Experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, sales, promotions, events, or other people-facing environments can be useful, but we're also interested in candidates at the beginning of their careers who show strong potential.

You'll receive training and support as you learn the role, the campaigns we represent, and our approach to customer engagement.

You'll have the opportunity to develop practical skills in communication, campaign representation, customer engagement, and team collaboration, with scope to take on greater responsibility as you progress.

This is a full-time, on-site position in the Washington, DC area.
