Class Description

The position supports and executes comprehensive marketing,audience development, promotional initiatives and ticket sales forCCBC Arts, including theatre, dance, music, galleries, filmscreenings, and other events. This position combines marketing strategy, content creation, and audience engagement with box officecustomer front facing duties to ensure successful sales and promotion of performances, exhibitions, and events. This position requires travel between our Essex, Dundalk and Catonsville campus'with the home campus being Essex.

Minimum Requirements

An Associate’s degree in marketing, communication, graphic designor related field and four years of experience in marketingincluding managing social media and working with content calendar for performing arts or a Bachelor’s degree and two years of similar experience is required. Ability to work overtime during peak periods and fill in for absences as needed. This position requires travel between our Essex, Dundalk and Catonsville campuses with thehome campus being Essex.

Specific Essential Duties
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns for CCBC Arts and community theatres productions, events and gallery exhibitions to increase attendance, engagement, and visibility.
  • Create and manage marketing content and materials includingposters, flyers, postcards, digital graphics, and promotional assets that support brand consistency and audience growth.
  • Manage social media accounts and online presence for CCBCPerforming Arts and community theatres and develop content creation, storytelling for digital platforms and content calendars.
  • Coordinate internal marketing efforts across college channels including website, student communications, student portal, TV andLED screens and other campus-wide promotions.
  • Coordinate external marketing initiatives, including advertising, press releases, cross-promotional partnerships and collaborations.
  • Support ticketing and box office operations, including event setup, ticket inventory management, pricing structures, discount programs, online ticket sales, and customer service duringperformances and events.

    Position Specific Essential Duties
  • Develop and lead marketing strategies for all CCBC Artsprogramming, including theatre, dance, music, film screening,gallery exhibitions and other events.
  • Collaborate with faculty, production teams, and partners toensure cohesive marketing of the productions, branding and messaging.
  • Manage marketing timelines and production schedules for allpromotional materials.
  • Maintain and update CCBC Arts event listings, news, press releases and blog updates.
  • Support fundraising and development initiatives throughmarketing and storytelling.
  • Create and distribute mass email campaigns, newsletters, andannouncements through Constant Contact and internal systems.
  • Schedule and coordinate photographers, videographers, andinterviews for marketing and archival purposes.
  • Track marketing analytics and provide reports to support planning and decision-making.
  • Coordinate group sales efforts and educational matinee outreach programs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local media outlets, artsjournalists, bloggers, radio stations, television stations, andinfluencers.
  • Coordinates media interviews, press coverage, artistspotlights, and promotional appearances.
  • Manage event listings on local, regional, and national artscalendars, social media groups and community event platforms.
  • Support preparation, processing, and management of ticketinventory through back-end setup of events, seating maps and customer codes, including PLUs, price points, discount codes and matching to general ledger accounts.
