Overview
The VISTA project associate team at Counselors in the Community Association (CITCA) supports our mission of empowerment through mental health care access, community partnerships, and outreach initiatives. As a VISTA member, you will engage in a diverse range of activities that drive positive change and lasting impact.
Responsibilities- Committee and volunteer engagement
- Community outreach
- Resource acquisition
- Fundraising
- Social media and public relations
- Recruit and train volunteers, facilitate workshops, plan events, create social media campaigns, engage with the community online, enhance online presence, build partnerships, collaborate with schools, conduct research, develop program content, and contribute to organizational growth
- Preferred college degree or relevant experience (3–5 years) in social media management, community outreach, partnerships, psychology, counseling, or fundraising
- Must be willing to serve 40 hours/week (2 in-person, 3 remote)
- Flexible, hybrid shift between 8:30 am – 8:30 pm, Mon–Sat
- Complete Ameri Corps and CITCA requirements prior to orientation

Member DutiesDuties will depend on assignment placement and member skills, as discussed during training.
