Family Services Director

The YMCA seeks a Family Services Director to lead mission-driven programs that support youth and families in our community. In this role, you will oversee a portfolio of family-focused services, including parent education, family support groups, and youth enrichment. You will supervise and develop staff and volunteers, manage budgets, and ensure high-quality, safe, and inclusive programming. The Director will build strong partnerships with schools, social service agencies, and community organizations, while supporting grant efforts and reporting.

Using data and participant feedback, you will drive continual improvement and measurable community impact in alignment with the YMCA's values of respect, inclusion, and social responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead family and youth programs aligned with YMCA mission and community needs
• Supervise, coach, and evaluate family program staff and volunteers
• Develop, budget, and manage family services program portfolio
• Build partnerships with schools, social service agencies, and community organizations
• Ensure compliance with YMCA policies, safety standards, and funder requirements
• Use data and participant feedback to improve program quality and outcomes
• Oversee outreach, enrollment, and retention of families in programs
• Support fundraising, grants, and reporting related to family services
• Promote an inclusive, welcoming environment for diverse families
• Collaborate with branch leadership on strategic planning and community impact
