Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring BLS, NRP, C-EFM, and STABLE certifications, as well as scrub experience.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
- Night shift position with three 12-hour shifts per week, 18:50 to 07:20
- Required to scrub as backup as needed
- Patient care includes laboring, delivering, and immediate post-partum
- Floating required to mother/baby and as a scrub nurse
- Call required for 2 shifts per 6-week schedule
- Every other weekend is required
- Will accept local candidates within 60 miles at a lower rate
- Assignment is 13 weeks in length
- Scrub attire required in the unit
- Call coverage is part of the expected shift rotation
- Active MD or compact RN license required
- Current BLS, NRP, C-EFM, and STABLE certifications required at time of consideration
- ACLS certification preferred
- Minimum 3 years of L&D experience required (2 years may be accepted with strong experience)
- Prior scrub experience required
- First-time travelers will be considered
