As part of the renowned Med Star Heart & Vascular Institute
, Med Star Union Memorial Hospital is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Cardiac Surgery team
. Our institute is recognized regionally and nationally for advancing cardiovascular care through groundbreaking research, state-of-the-art technology, and a steadfast focus on improving patient outcomes.

In this role, you will:

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care, focusing on pre- and post-operative management.

• Collaborate with an expert team of surgeons, physicians, and advanced practice providers to deliver exceptional, evidence-based care.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and innovation in cardiac surgery practices.

Position Details:

• Full-time, 40 hours per week

• Day shift (7:00 a.m. ? 7:00 p.m.)

• Inpatient-focused role2

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in cardiac surgery or a surgical/acute care setting strongly preferred

• Committed to teamwork, clinical excellence, and advancing cardiovascular care
