Travel RN - Med​/Surg - Wound​/Ostomy Care

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an inpatient Wound/Ostomy/Continence Care position requiring a MD or Compact RN license, WCC, and BLS certification.

Job Details

• Inpatient wound care setting covering all age groups,

• Rounding with the wound care team on 4 to 5 units daily,

• Typical patient volume is approximately 15 per day,

• Common diagnoses include pressure injuries, chronic and acute wounds, and ostomies,

• Day shift schedule consists of five 8-hour shifts (Monday through Friday, 08:00-16:30),

• No weekends or on-call required,

• May be required to float within the specialty to a downtown campus as needed,

• Holiday coverage required as scheduled,

Job Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license required,

• Current Wound Care Certification (WCC) and Basic Life Support (BLS) required,

• Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (WOCN) certification preferred,

• Minimum one year of wound care RN experience required,

• Open to first-time travelers with strong experience,
