Description:

Inpatient Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (WOCN) position for days, block schedule (Monday to Friday).

Responsibilities include rounding on 4 to 5 units daily.
The nurse will care for patients of all age groups.
Patient diagnoses include pressure injuries, chronic and acute wounds, and ostomies.

Floating may be required within the specialty as needed.
Weekly census will average around 15 patients per day.
Holiday work is required as scheduled, and weekends are not required.

The role involves providing education and support to patients and their families regarding wound care and ostomy management.
Candidates should be comfortable with infection control practices and using various wound care products.
A strong emphasis on patient/family teaching is necessary.

Travelers will be required to comply with all relevant protocols and documentation.
References from recent employers may be required.
Candidates must be willing to float within their experience scope.
