Position: Nurse Manager, Med/Surg 3 North - MTC

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Nurse Manager I to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and managing daily clinical operations within the unit. This role requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to promote a safe and efficient care environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise nursing staff to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Coordinate and manage daily clinical activities to ensure compliance with healthcare standards and policies.
  • Develop and implement nursing care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor patient outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Manage staffing schedules, performance evaluations, and professional development of nursing personnel.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and hospital protocols.
  • Facilitate effective communication between nursing staff, patients, and families.
  • Participate in budget planning and resource allocation for the nursing unit.
Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred;
    Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration is a plus.
  • Proven clinical nursing experience with prior leadership or management roles preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of nursing practices, healthcare regulations, and quality standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team in a fast‑paced clinical environment.
