Registered Nurse – Float – Peds/PICU/NICU (Full‑time w/ Weekend Commitment).
Location:
Baltimore, MD – SINAI HOSPITAL FLOAT POOL. Sign‑On Bonus Potential: $10,000.00. Pay: $37.15–$57.58 per hour, experience based. Posted May 5, 2026.
As a member of the patient care team, the RN provides safe, age‑appropriate patient care and functions as an advisor and resource for patients and their families. The role supports multiple units and is part of a designated supplemental staffing pool designed to address staffing shortages.
ResponsibilitiesProvide nursing care across Peds, PICU, and NICU units. Attend 7‑am to 7:30‑pm and 7‑pm to 7:30‑am rotations with weekend obligations and shift incentives once flexibility commitments are met.
Qualifications- Telemetry experience required.
- Peds/PICU/NICU experience required.
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
- Current RN license in Maryland or a Compact State.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
- Stable within 6 months of hire.
- Chemo/biotherapy provider course within 6 months of hire.
- Preferred:
Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN) or Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) – Pediatric or Neonatal.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association.
- Trauma Certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification.
- All within 6 months of hire.
