American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Surgical/Ortho unit position requiring a minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg or telemetry experience and Epic proficiency.

• Work in a Surgical/Ortho (WENZ) unit at a large academic medical center (500+ beds)
• Patient population includes pre‑ and post‑operative surgical cases: orthopedic, ortho‑spine, and trauma
• Dysrhythmia management is a component of patient care on this unit
• Epic EMR is used on this unit
• Day shift, 12‑hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• 36 hours per week
• 13‑week contract
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required to similar units as needed
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• No on‑call requirement

• Active MD or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of current Med/Surg or telemetry nursing experience required
• Experience with dysrhythmia management required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience at a comparable facility size (500+ bed facility) required
• Active RN license and SSN/DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required for consideration

• Provide pre‑ and post‑operative bedside surgical nursing care with a focus on orthopedic, ortho‑spine, and trauma patients
• Prior travel assignment experience (1–2 assignments) is preferred but not required
• Local candidates are welcome to apply at the same bill rate
