Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – PICU at Sinai Hospital – Baltimore, MD
Sinai Hospital is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (ACPNP) to join our growing Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a well‑established, collaborative, and family‑centered care environment.
You will join a dynamic team that currently includes one full‑time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, with plans to expand to three, and work closely with two full‑time pediatric intensivists committed to excellent patient care and continuous innovation.
What You’ll Do- Provide high‑quality assessment and management of patients in a six‑bed PICU, with an average daily census of 3–4 children.
- Collaborate closely with a supportive team of pediatric intensivists and multidisciplinary staff.
- Participate in policy, protocol, and program development to support unit growth and excellence.
- Work flexible shifts ranging from 15 to 24 hours.
- Deliver compassionate, family‑centered care that reflects the Sinai Hospital mission.
- Join an environment welcoming to both experienced ACPNPs and new graduates.
- Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification (required).
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient‑management skills.
- Commitment to providing exceptional, family‑centered pediatric care.
- Desire to contribute to a supportive, collaborative, and forward‑moving PICU team.
- Current APRN national specialty certification.
- Minimum of a master’s degree.
