Reg Nurse - Radiology - PRN

Schedule

• Shift: PRN - As Needed, 7:30am-4:00pm

Under the direction of the unit manager, this role provides direct clinical patient care. The role will assess, plan, and implement age‑appropriate care for assigned patients each shift and at the unit level. It also supervises staff to whom care is delegated and supports the CNO to ensure high‑quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, clinical staff competency, and resource management related to patient care.

• Assess and document patient/family educational needs to aid informed decision‑making and provide successful transfer within the healthcare environment.
• Coordinate with peers to establish educational resources as needed.
• Maintain a safe environment for patient and family.
• Develop and coordinate discharge plans independently or in collaboration with other staff.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, problem‑solving skills, professional behavior, and customer service.
• Perform hourly rounding.
• Participate in team meetings regarding patient care and practice issues.

• Less than one year.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

• Registered Nurse license – current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license.
• Basic Life Support.
