Position Overview

A leading post-acute care and rehabilitation organization is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead a dedicated Long-Term Care and Subacute Rehabilitation team. This leadership role oversees a 42-bed rehabilitation unit and is responsible for driving clinical excellence, supporting staff development, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on nursing leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional care to patients recovering from illness, injury, and complex medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for nursing operations on the unit
• Support, coach, and develop nursing staff
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, clinical, and quality standards
• Monitor patient outcomes and implement performance improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and operational management
• Foster a positive and patient-centered culture

Requirements

• Active Maryland RN license
• BLS (CPR) certification required
• Associate Degree in Nursing required
• BSN and/or national certification preferred
• Minimum of 5-7 years of Long-Term Care or Subacute Rehabilitation nursing experience
• Previous nursing leadership or management experience required
• Strong communication, organizational, and team-building skills
• Commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centered care
