American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring prior travel experience, combined adult/pediatric ED background, and night shift availability.
Requirements- Active MD or Compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
- Preferred certifications: TNCC, CPI, and MAB
- Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
- Combined adult/pediatric ED experience required
- At least 1 prior completed travel assignment required
- Proficiency in triage, IV starts, and phlebotomy required
- Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on the lethal rhythms section
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
- General ED setting with a combined adult and pediatric patient population
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract
- Every other weekend required
- Every other holiday required
- Provide emergency nursing care to a mixed adult and pediatric patient population
- Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are accepted for this position
