Johns Hopkins is a world-renowned leader in patient care, serving the greater Baltimore community and patients from all across the globe. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff teams provide support throughout our many specialty departments and centers, from primary visits to emergency care.

The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Johns Hopkins Hospital is a 28-bed unit providing comprehensive medical and surgical intensive care for children from birth to 21 years old. As Maryland's only Level 1 pediatric trauma center and state-designated pediatric burn ICU, the PICU cares for children up to 15 years of age with complex diagnoses including respiratory failure, metabolic disorders, seizure disorders, multi-organ failure, shock, toxic ingestions, and neonatal and pediatric ECMO.

Our surgical services encompass extensive general, cardiac, thoracic, orthopedic, and neurologic procedures.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in nursing (Required)

* RN - Registered Nurse License (Required)

* CPR - Basic CPR (Required)

* Minimum six (6) months of nursing experience (Required)

* 2 years of nursing experience (Preferred)

* Prior Pediatric Critical Care experience (Preferred)

Salary Range:
Minimum 47.96/hour - Maximum 74.34/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
