The Orthopedic Unit at Mercy is renowned for providing exceptional care to adults recovering from various surgeries, including foot and ankle surgery; orthopedic and neurosurgical spine surgery; shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand surgery; hip and knee surgery; sports medicine; and joint replacement and reconstruction surgery. Our expert orthopedic surgeons spearhead surgical advancements, offering cutting‑edge technology and minimally invasive procedures. • A diploma/degree from an accredited nursing school (a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is strongly preferred, or agreement to enroll within six months of employment).
• A Registered Nurse license to practice in Maryland or the ability to obtain a Maryland license based on timeframe of licensing board.
• New nurse graduates considered with practicum, or technician experience in acute care. One - two years of clinical nursing experience strongly preferred.
• Healthcare Provider-Level CPR certification.

Min: USD $38.58/Hr.

Max: USD $69.44/Hr.

Compensation decisions are made in alignment with internal equity, role scope, and market data to ensure fair and consistent pay practices. Most new hires are typically placed within the lower to mid‑portion of the range; offers above that level are reserved for candidates with advanced or highly specialized qualifications.
