Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

Carroll Park Healthcare is a skilled nursing facility seeking an experienced leader to join its dynamic nursing leadership team. The assistant director supports the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical operations and ensuring high‑quality care for a diverse resident population.

• Supervise and guide nursing and support staff in a skilled nursing setting.
• Implement, monitor, and sustain clinical systems and processes aligned with best practice and regulatory standards.
• Lead Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI), infection control, customer service, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Provide direct and indirect nursing oversight and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address residents’ physical and psychosocial needs.
• Evaluate current practices, develop and implement improvement strategies, and measure the effectiveness of interventions.
• Promote a resident‑centered environment, champion dignity, respect, and individuality.
• Mentor nursing staff, model professional practice, reinforce clinical competencies, and foster a supportive team‑oriented environment.

• Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Current Maryland RN licensure.
• Progressive management experience in an acute or long‑term care setting.
• 3‑5 years experience in a long‑term care setting.
