Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate competent patient- and family-centered care using the nursing process.
  • Work with the interdisciplinary team to provide evidence-based patient care, positive patient care experiences, and quality outcomes in a professional nursing practice environment.
Requirements
  • Education and Work Experience
    • Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
    • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and have successfully completed the State Board of Nursing Licensure Exam.
    • BSN preferred.
    • Must possess at least 1 year of current clinical experience.
    • Must obtain 20 contact hours per year, fifty percent of which must be clinically focused. Academic course credits may be used on a 1:1 credit hour exchange.
  • License Requirements
    • RN license.
  • Certification Requirements
    • Current Healthcare Provider CPR/BLS upon hire.
  • Specialty Certifications
    • PACU, ICU, Cath Lab, Angiography, Lung Center, McAuley Surgery Center – ACLS within 1 year of hire or 6 months of promotion.
    • ED – ACLS within 6 months of hire/promotion and ENPC or PALS within 1 year.
    • Mother/Baby, NICU/PEDS – NRP within 6 months of hire/promotion.
    • Labor & Delivery – NRP within 6 months of hire/promotion and EFM within 1 year of hire.
    • Telemetry – ACLS within 1 year of hire, within 18 months of hire if new grad.
    • Chemotherapy Clinic (Outpatient Chemo) – ONS and OCN certifications within 1–2 years of hire.
  • Age-Specific Care Provided For
    • Neonates, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, Outlook, Meditech, Epic, Performance Manager/Net Learning.
    • Excellent communication skills in English.
    • Ability to work independently and make independent decisions when warranted.
    • Effective interpersonal communication with personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, and the general public.
    • Flexibility, personal integrity, and teamwork orientation.
    • Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Other Requirements
    • Critical thinking, prioritization, adaptability.
Salary Information

USD $37.75 per hour (minimum) – USD $67.95 per hour (maximum). Compensation decisions are aligned with internal equity, role scope, and market data to ensure fair and consistent pay practices. New hires are typically placed within the lower to mid-portion of the range; offers above that are reserved for candidates with advanced or highly specialized qualifications.
