Travel Nurse RN - PACU - Post Anesthesia Care

Job Summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU – Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing role in Baltimore, Maryland. The assignment begins on 07/20/2026 for 12 weeks, with 12‑hour rotating shifts and a 36‑hour minimum weekly schedule. The RN must bring a valid Maryland or Compact license and 2+ years of ICU or PACU experience.

• Provide peri‑anesthesia care in a 28‑bed PACU for patients of all ages.
• Manage airway, ventilated patients, administer blood products, and titrate vasopressors.
• Float to other PACU, pre‑operative, ICU, and sister facilities within scope as needed.
• Maintain charting in Epic when applicable and meet daily clinical standards.
• Bring license to the unit on the first day of employment.

• Active Maryland or Compact RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of ICU or PACU experience and prior travel assignment experience.
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and CPI (required).
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• Trauma level I‑III center experience and charge nurse experience preferred.
• Flu vaccination required; no exemptions.
• Schedule:
  
  Rotating 12‑hour shifts from 07:00‑19:00 and 19:30‑07:30, minimum 36 hours per week, scheduled weekends and on‑call shifts.
