The CICU/CVICU Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in CVICU, including experience with IABP and Impella systems. Duties include the management of critical cardiac conditions such as cardiogenic shock, cardiac arrest, heart failure, and arrhythmias.

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced critical care environment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform essential procedures including central/A-line insertions and CRRT.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and clinical status, including use of advanced monitoring equipment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Assist in various cardiac procedures and maintain expertise in ECMO management.

• Active RN license in Maryland or compact state.
• At least 2 years of experience in a CVICU setting.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIH; CCRN preferred.
• Familiarity with Epic charting system is required.
