Summary:

The Gastrointestinal/Genitourinary Unit (GI/GU) is a 19-27 bed inpatient medical surgical unit offering 24-hour care to adult and geriatric patients with diverse gastrointestinal and genitourinary diagnoses such as:
Abdominal pain of unknown etiology, Gallbladder Disease, GI Bleeds, Surgery of the Colon, Gallbladder, Liver, Pancreas, Prostate and Spleen Infections, Neoplasms, and Ostomies.

Job Summary:

As a member of the patient care team, the RN Registered Nurse at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore provides safe age-appropriate patient care and functions as an advisor and resource for patients and their families.

Requirements:

Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college) Requires knowledge of a specialized field. Associate's degree or Diploma in Nursing. Less than 1 year of experience. Licensed as a Registered Nurse registered to practice in Maryland. American Heart Association CPR Certification.
