Licensed Practical Nurse - Acute Care - Levindale

Overview

Location: Baltimore, MD.

Position: LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse in High Intensity Care Unit (HICU).

Sign‑On Bonus: Up to $5,000.

Organization: Levindale Hospital – part of Life Bridge Health.

This role provides skilled, compassionate care to adult patients with complex medical needs in a fast‑paced, team-oriented environment.

• Provide safe, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with established care plans and clinical guidelines.
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress.
• Communicate effectively with RNs, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Educate and support patients and families, offering both clinical guidance and emotional care.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards.

• Active Maryland or Compact State LPN license.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association required).
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.
