Join Our Team at The Johns Hopkins Hospital
- Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department (ED)

Weekly

Working Hours:

36 hours per week

Shift: 12-hour rotating days and night shift

Johns Hopkins is a world-renowned leader in patient care, serving the greater Baltimore community and patients from across the globe. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff teams provide support throughout our many specialty departments and centers, from primary visits to emergency care.

The Johns Hopkins Hospital Department of Emergency Services is a designated Level 1 Adult Trauma Center, regional Pediatric Trauma Center, Eye Trauma Center, Stroke Center, and Cardiac Center for the state of Maryland. The Adult Emergency Department provides 24/7 comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients as well as trauma patients 15 years and older. The department consists of 76 treatment beds and handles more than 60,000 visits annually.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in nursing (ADN) (Required),
• Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) (Preferred) and
• Applicants with an associate degree in nursing will be considered. Per nursing guidelines, must matriculate into a Bachelor of Nursing program.
• RN
  - Registered Nurse License (Required)
• CPR
  - Basic CPR (Required)
• Minimum six (6) months of nursing experience (Required)
• 1 year of nursing experience (Preferred)
• 1 year of Emergency Department experience (Preferred)

Salary Range: Minimum 39.64/hour
- Maximum 64.45/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
