Position: Affiliate Clinical Instructor (BSN Program)

Position Overview

Affiliate Clinical Instructor (BSN Program) – Part‑time, regular employee. Remote and hybrid options open for applicants in specified state. Position begins Friday, August 28, 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver clinical instruction to BSN students in settings such as Mercy Medical Center and surrounding hospitals in Baltimore, MD.
  • Follow the program’s established syllabi and accreditation standards for each course.
  • Execute teaching assignments according to the clinical schedule and program needs.
  • Mentor students in the art and science of nursing, helping them develop clinical judgment and patient‑centered care.
Qualifications

Required

  • MSN, DNP, or PhD in Nursing.
  • Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of Maryland.
  • At least two years of RN experience.
  • Clinical expertise in one of the following subject areas:
    Health Assessment, Fundamentals, Medical‑Surgical, Pediatrics, Maternal‑Child, Mental Health, Community Health, Transition to Practice.

Preferred

  • Successful teaching experience at the university or college level.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the profession through professional leadership or public service.
Compensation

$1,333 - $2,250 per credit hour, based on qualifications and experience.
