Position Overview
Affiliate Clinical Instructor (BSN Program) – Part‑time, regular employee. Remote and hybrid options open for applicants in specified state. Position begins Friday, August 28, 2026.
Responsibilities- Deliver clinical instruction to BSN students in settings such as Mercy Medical Center and surrounding hospitals in Baltimore, MD.
- Follow the program’s established syllabi and accreditation standards for each course.
- Execute teaching assignments according to the clinical schedule and program needs.
- Mentor students in the art and science of nursing, helping them develop clinical judgment and patient‑centered care.
Required
- MSN, DNP, or PhD in Nursing.
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of Maryland.
- At least two years of RN experience.
- Clinical expertise in one of the following subject areas:
Health Assessment, Fundamentals, Medical‑Surgical, Pediatrics, Maternal‑Child, Mental Health, Community Health, Transition to Practice.
Preferred
- Successful teaching experience at the university or college level.
- Demonstrated commitment to the profession through professional leadership or public service.
$1,333 - $2,250 per credit hour, based on qualifications and experience.
