Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Baltimore, MD

Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts | 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM

• Provide safe, age-appropriate patient care as a member of the operating room patient care team
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties across a broad range of surgical specialties including Trauma, ENT, Colorectal, Plastics, Neurosurgery, Surgical Oncology, Oral/Dental, Laparoscopic, Urology, Ophthalmology, GYN, General, Orthopedic, Robotics, Vascular, and Thoracic procedures
• Serve as an advisor and resource for patients and their families throughout the perioperative experience
• Apply evidence-based care practices and support minimally invasive and advanced surgical techniques
• Complete required orientation modules virtually on the first day of contract and annual compliance modules as applicable
• Float within facility and scope of practice as needed

• Valid Maryland or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
• Current BLS certification required
• 16-hour Maryland-approved trauma course required
• 8-hour annual trauma CEUs required
• Proficiency across multiple surgical specialties as listed above

• Experience with robotic-assisted surgical procedures
• Background in trauma surgery or high-acuity surgical environments
