Job Summary
A registered nurse (RN) position in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) / Medical Surgical Telemetry level unit in Baltimore, Maryland. The role provides specialized nursing care to adult inpatients with diverse medical conditions, including cardiac, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, infectious diseases, psychiatric, and substance abuse. RN license required on first day of employment.

Provide direct patient care, including assessment, care planning, intervention, and evaluation for patients with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmia events.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and communicate updates during rounds and shift changes.
Use EPIC electronic medical record system to document patient care accurately and timely.
Qualifications- Registered Nurse license in Maryland
- Minimum 2 years of current RN experience in an acute or telemetry setting
- Proficiency in dysrhythmia management
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience with EPIC EMR (preferred)
- Previous work history at any Johns Hopkins facility at least one full year prior to application (for verification)
- Telehealth or telemetry experience (preferred)
