• Provide age‑appropriate care to patients.
• Help patients feel comfortable with examinations and procedures.
• Perform physical, medical, and diagnostic tests.
• Assess for critical signs and symptoms in pediatric and adolescent patients.
• Assist treating physicians during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Provide information, education, and support to patients’ families.

• BLS and PALS certification, 2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Additional certifications may be required before the assignment.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean and stoop without difficulty.
• Capable of lifting up to 20 or up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Comfortable working with exposure to chemicals and infectious diseases.
