Travel RN - Med​/Surg - Infusion

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology Infusion RN for an ambulatory infusion clinic position requiring chemotherapy/biotherapy/immunotherapy certification and a minimum of 2 years of RN experience.

• Active MD or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• ONS/OCC Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Certificate (the full course, not the fundamentals course) required — available online through ONS
• Oncology infusion experience required
• Proficiency in peripheral IV insertion and peripheral blood draws required
• Skills in accessing, maintaining, and de-accessing central lines required
• Experience at a facility with 500+ beds required
• ACLS preferred
• Epic/Beacon EMR experience preferred
• Ambulatory setting experience preferred
• Some emergency room experience preferred
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required for consideration

• Ambulatory oncology infusion clinic setting
• Fast‑paced infusion center focused on patient‑centered care
• Day shift, 10‑hour shifts: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• 13‑week contract
• Continually monitors patients throughout infusion treatments and intervenes rapidly in emergent situations
• Provides ongoing patient education and thorough assessment across a variety of medical conditions
• Travel experience preferred
• Local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate
