Responsibilities

A Clinical Nurse II (CN II) demonstrates competent patient and family- centered care using the nursing process. The CN II will work with the interdisciplinary team to provide evidence-based patient care, positive patient care experiences and quality outcomes in the professional nursing practice environment.

Requirements

* Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and successfully completed the State Board of Nursing Licensure Exam

* BSN Preferred

* Current Healthcare Provider CPR/BLS upon hire

* Registered Nurse license to practice in Maryland or the ability to obtain a Maryland license based on timeframe of licensing board

* Must possess 1 year of current clinical experience

* Must obtain 20 Contact hours per year, fifty percent of which must be clinically focused. Academic course credits may be used on a 1:1 credit hour exchange.

* Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 6 months of hire/transfer and EFM (External Fetal Monitoring) within 18 months of hire. If hired before January 2023, EFM is required within 2 years of hire.
