Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center stands as a distinguished institution, encompassing a 420‑bed teaching hospital, a dedicated trauma center, a neonatal intensive care unit, and a renowned geriatrics center. It proudly hosts the Johns Hopkins Burn Center, the sole adult burn trauma facility in Maryland.

This is a bustling 31‑bed unit serving a large diverse customer area. We welcome new graduates and experienced RNs passionate about providing exceptional patient care.

As a valued member of our Medical A Unit, you will provide exceptional care to patients with chronic conditions including diabetes, asthma, pneumonia, and chronic cardiac, pulmonary, and renal conditions.

This dynamic environment serves as a perfect learning experience for beginning RNs, enabling the development of essential patient‑care skills.

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; must enroll in and complete a BSN program within 5 years (within 1 year of hire).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or a compact state required.
• Basic CPR certification (or AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network) required.
• Minimum six (6) months of nursing experience required.
• Previous experience as a patient care tech or student nurse tech is helpful.

Minimum $39.64/hour – Maximum $61.45/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
