About the Role

The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) directly reports to the department manager and clinically and administratively supports the team. Responsibilities include monitoring staffing and scheduling, maintaining a state of constant readiness for regulatory agencies, actively engaging in patient satisfaction improvement and stabilization, and improving departmental efficiencies. This is a full‑time evening/night shift position; hours vary based on department needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operations and flow.
  • Manage and engage team building and performance.
  • Complete administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • One year of formal nursing leadership experience required.
  • One to three years of relevant inpatient psychiatric RN experience required.
  • Maryland Registered Nurse license, American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • Must be a member of a professional organization.
