Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Tele surgical unit requiring 2+ years of nursing experience and dysrhythmia management skills.

Requirements

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact) required
• Minimum 2 years of current nursing experience required
• Dysrhythmia management experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• EPIC experience preferred
• 1-2 prior travel assignments preferred
• Experience in a comparable large facility setting (500+ bed count) required

Responsibilities

• Work on a Med/Surg Tele level surgical unit specializing in Orthopedic, GI, Spine, Trauma, and General Surgery patients
• Provide pre and post bedside surgical care for orthopedic, ortho-spine, trauma, and neuro-surgery patients
• Care for adult inpatients across multiple levels of care including acute and telemetry units
• Rotating 7A/7P shift schedule
• Orientation held on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month
• Deliver pre- and post-operative surgical nursing care to a diverse surgical patient population
• Work within a high-acuity academic medical center environment
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• Strong, highly qualified candidates preferred for this facility
