Role:
Lead Registered Nurse in the Perinatal Unit, providing clinical and operational leadership in a high-risk obstetrics setting.
Responsibilities:Oversee nursing staff, support day-to-day operations, conduct performance evaluations, facilitate staff development, promote quality and safety, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional, patient-centered care. The role involves mentoring staff, supporting performance improvement initiatives, and fostering a culture of professional growth.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- active RN license
- BLS certification
- GYN/OB nursing experience
- Charge/preceptor experience is preferred.
- Care for high-risk and low-risk pregnant women, postpartum women, and participate in intrauterine fetal interventions.
- Lead nursing operations, support staff, and uphold clinical excellence in a Level IV Regional Perinatal Referral Center.
- Leadership, nursing expertise in GYN/OB, team collaboration, performance management, and a commitment to quality care.
