American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular/IMC Unit position requiring compact RN licensure and CRRT experience.
Details- Work in a high-acuity 20-bed Intermediate Care (IMC) unit within a hospital setting
- Care for critically ill cardiovascular patients
- Day shift schedule from 06:45 to 19:15
- 13-week assignment length
- Uses advanced medical equipment such as ventilators and cardiac monitors
- Active Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
- CRRT experience required
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols
- Continuously monitor and assess critically ill patients using advanced medical equipment
- Administer medications, fluids, and treatments accurately and in accordance with physician orders
- Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition and emergencies
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals on individualized care plans
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and families
- Follow strict infection control protocols
- Willingness to precept is expected
- Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate that varies by state
- Candidates should begin discussing extension with their manager approximately 45 days before assignment end date
