CNA – LTC​/SNF

CNA Position

Provide compassionate and competent CNA services within a long-term care or skilled nursing facility. Ensure patient comfort, safety, and proper care according to facility standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Monitor and report patient conditions, noting any changes or concerns.
• Perform sanitation and infection control duties to maintain a safe environment.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure care plans are followed accurately.
• Support residents' nutritional needs by assisting with feeding when necessary.
• Document patient care activities accurately and promptly.

Qualifications:

• Possess an active Maryland GNA license at the time of application.
• Hold current CNA certification and BLS certification recognized by AHA.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting.
• Possess strong communication skills and a compassionate approach.
• Ability to float across various units, including LTC, LTAC, Medical-Surgical, and Behavioral Health, based on staffing needs.
• Willingness to work scheduled shifts, including evenings and every other weekend.
