As an RN on the BHU, you ll work alongside an interdisciplinary team to:

As an RN on the BHU, you ll work alongside an interdisciplinary team to:
  • Assess and monitor patients with complex behavioral and medical needs
  • Administer medications and treatments safely and effectively
  • Develop individualized care plans that promote dignity, quality of life, and optimal outcomes
  • Support patients and families through education, advocacy, and compassionate communication
What You ll Do
  • Deliver safe, compassionate, age-appropriate nursing care to patients and their families
  • Perform and document comprehensive patient assessments
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
  • Administer medications and treatments according to established standards
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge needs
  • Evaluate patient outcomes and identify opportunities to improve care delivery
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Requirements:

Requirements:
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
  • Minimum of one (1) year of RN experience
  • Current Maryland RN license or eligibility through a compact state license
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Experience with Cerner or similar electronic medical record systems preferred

Pay Range: $37.15 to $57.58 Based On Experience
