American Traveler is hiring a Neuroscience Med/Surg RN for a night shift position requiring a minimum of 2 years' neuro med/surg experience and an active RN license (Maryland or Compact).
Requirements- Active RN license (Maryland or Compact) required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years' neuro med/surg experience required
- Experience in a facility with 500+ bed count required
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
- Work on a Neuroscience and Epilepsy Monitoring Unit within a Neurosurgery/Neurology department
- Care for patients undergoing evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of intractable seizure disorders
- Med/Surg and Telemetry patient population with a focus on neurology and neurosurgery cases
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM on a 12-hour rotation
- 13-week assignment length
- Orientation held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month
- Provide direct care to patients with complex neurological and neurosurgical conditions
- Work in an intellectually challenging environment supporting patients seeking innovative therapies for nervous system disorders
