RN Nurse, Operating Room Nurse, Surgical Assistant
Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and Preoperative/Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) focused on providing safe, patient-centered care for pediatric and adult patients undergoing same-day surgical procedures.
Responsibilities: Manage the full patient experience from preoperative preparation through recovery and discharge, collaborating with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and interdisciplinary teams. Provide age-appropriate care, serve as a resource for patients and families, and ensure smooth perioperative processes.
Specialties Served: Ophthalmology, Gynecology, Otolaryngology (ENT).
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 2 years RN OR experience;
Ophthalmology experience preferred - Associate's or Diploma in Nursing
- Maryland Board of Nursing or Compact State RN licensure
- American Heart Association BLS & ACLS certifications
Additional Details: Compensation ranges from $37.15 to $57.58 per hour based on experience. The role offers a potential sign-on bonus of up to $6,000 and comprehensive benefits including health coverage, retirement plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and wellness programs.
