Role Overview
The RN in this position provides inpatient psychiatric care on a 24-bed behavioral health unit, focusing on crisis stabilization, medication management, and discharge planning.
Responsibilities Include- Delivering compassionate psychiatric care within an interdisciplinary team
- Administering medications and monitoring patient progress
- Participating in group therapy sessions and crisis interventions
- Assisting with aftercare planning to ensure smooth patient transitions
- Associate's degree or Diploma in Nursing or higher
- Minimum 1 year of inpatient psychiatric nursing experience
- Valid RN license in Maryland
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Competitive pay range based on experience
