Clinical Immersion Experience For Nursing Students

Are you a nursing school student graduating in May or December 2027? Join us for a unique clinical immersion experience for student nurses to enhance nursing skills and gain additional exposure to clinical healthcare specialties. As a Magnet™ Designated organization, participants will receive top notch instruction and guidance for their future success as a Registered Nurse. Students will have the opportunity to participate in share time on a unit of interest.

Participants can expect:

• Hands on skills practice
• Individualized learning assessments and plans
• Mentoring by experienced Mercy nurses
• Fun networking activities with cohort participants and Mercy nurses
• Access to Nurse Educators
• Career pathway assistance
• Opportunity to explore future nursing employment at Mercy

We will be holding two cohorts in January 2027. The first is January 4th - 8th and the second is January 18th - 22nd. You must be available for the entire week of one of the cohorts in order to participate.

• Must be enrolled in Nursing School with an expected graduation date in 2027.
• A valid CNA license is required by the beginning of the program.
• BLS CPR required.

Applications are due by September 30th, 2026!

Min USD $17.83/Hr.

Max USD $26.75/Hr.

Compensation decisions are made in alignment with internal equity, role scope, and market data to ensure fair and consistent pay practices. Most new hires are typically placed within the lower to mid-portion of the range; offers above that level are reserved for candidates with advanced or highly specialized qualifications.
