Sinai Hospital's Perioperative Services encompasses the General OR, Cardiac OR, Orthopedic OR and Ambulatory Surgery Center - one of the largest and most diverse surgical operations in the region. As Nurse Manager, you'll lead a team of 3 Assistant Nurse Managers and up to 120 FTEs, setting the clinical, operational, and fiscal direction for the entire perioperative service line.

Responsibilities
Direct daily clinical operations across the General OR, Cardiac OR, Orthopedic OR, and Ambulatory Surgery Center
Lead and evaluate 3 Assistant Nurse Managers and up to 120 FTEs using objective performance management criteria
Manage the department's operating and capital budget, identifying and correcting variances
Drive OR-specific performance improvements - case turnover, utilization, and throughput - in partnership with surgical and anesthesia leadership
Champion staff advancement through the Clinical Ladder, specialty certification, and formal education pathways
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from a CCNE-accredited program required;
Master's degree (MSN, MS, MA, MHA, or MBA) preferred
Active Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required
National certification required
3-5 years of progressive OR nursing experience required, with demonstrated supervisory progression preferred
Strong fiscal management, performance evaluation, and cross-functional leadership skills
Pay Range: $51.47 to $79.78 Based On Experience
