About the RoleLarge nephrology practice in Baltimore, MD and surrounding areas seeks a full time Hospital-Based Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a growing specialty practice.
The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner supports the organization’s mission, values, and vision. The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner provides high-quality patient care within the scope of training and education and provides comprehensive patient care in autonomous collaboration with other health professionals. The PA or NP cooperates with other health care personnel to coordinate patient care and establish mutual goals and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
The PA or NP demonstrates and fosters a commitment to patient satisfaction and teamwork.
- Master of Science or Doctorate of Advanced Practitioner
- Maryland State RN and CRNP Licensure
- Minimum of 1-2 years of Nurse Practitioner hospital experience preferred.
- National Advanced Practice Certification as an Adult or Family Advanced Practitioner through ANCC or AANP or NCCPA certification
- Valid CPR (BLS)
- DEA/CDS/NPI
