Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Float Pool
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Float Pool. This role is vital in providing high-quality care across various units, supporting both medical and behavioral health patient populations.
Responsibilities- Provide patient care in multiple settings within the facility.
- Support both medical and behavioral health patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient vitals and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
- Assist in rehabilitation and recovery processes of patients.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards in patient care.
This position requires working a night shift, covering three 12-hour hours from 19:00 to 07:30. Every other weekend is mandatory, along with the expectation to work every other holiday.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure- A minimum of 2 years of LVN/LPN experience is required.
- LTAC experience is preferred.
- Current and active Maryland LVN/LPN license required upon submission.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
