American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro/Neurosurgical Med/Surg unit, requiring MD or compact licensure and prior neurology patient care experience.

• Work in a 14-bed acute care neurological and neurosurgical inpatient unit, part of a Joint Commission Comprehensive Stroke Center
• Care for adult patients with conditions such as spinal surgery, intracranial hemorrhage, subarachnoid hemorrhage, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, ALS, and seizure disorders
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required as needed per unit
• Availability call required for 2 (12-hour) shifts per 6-week schedule

• Active RN license (MD or Compact) required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg/Tele Acute Care experience required
• Experience caring for neurology patients required
• Experience in a facility with 500+ bed count required
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• EPIC EMR experience preferred

• Provide nursing care for stroke, neurology, and neurosurgical patients
• Orientation occurs on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• First time travelers may be considered if experience requirements are met
