Unit SummaryThe Hospital’s Neuroscience Unit is a 36-bed telemetry unit caring for neurology and neurosurgery patients, including traumatic brain injury (TBI), stroke, seizure, and epilepsy cases.
Job SummaryUnder the direction of the unit manager, this role provides direct clinical patient care. The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct age‑appropriate clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated.
Requirements- Registered Nurse License - Current Maryland license
- 2 Years or more of relevant Med/Surg Nursing experience required
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing required
- BLS Certificate required, ACLS preferred
- NIHSS Certification preferred
- CVICU experience required
- ICU experience required
